Facts About Finite Resources

And Ways To Conserve Resources

Finite Resources Research Paper

There are lots of resources that are running out in the world. This is why it is very important to conserve your resources. Lots of things can cause resources to run out. For example about 11 tons of artillery ammunition was made in world war 2. That is a lot of metal and other materials that were used to make all of that ammunition. And 47 Billion rounds of small arm ammunition was produced in world war 2. This goes to show how wars can use so much resources. Another way we are running out of resources is pollution. Pollution kills trees and other living things and those are all resources we are losing. Another way how resources are running out is the growing population. The population increased in the 20th century from 1.6 billion to over 6 billion. And studies show that there will be 9.6 billion people on earth by 2050, and 11 billion people by 2100. To add to this in the 20th century in the United States about 322 billion gallons of water a day. This shows that we need to be more conservative with our resources. Now let's talk about different peoples perspectives. Now a study showed that poor people produce less garbage than the rich. This is sad to see that people who have less are more conservative than us. So why don't we all conserve our resources. We all like to drink water. But we better stop wasting it. If this continues to go on, us wasting water. We might lose all the water. Well not all the water. There is still plenty of water left on earth it is the freshwater that we are running out of. Less than one of a half of all water is freshwater. So next time think about all that water you are pouring yourself and if you are really going to drink it all. All of these things it seems are running out and we are soon going to lose all of the resources that we need. But we are not doomed. We can still reverse all the wasting we have done. Here are some solutions so that we don't lose all of our resources. We can not use as much fossil fuels because they take over a billion years to make and wear running out of it fast. So you can use a more environmentally friendly way to power your stuff. You can use solar panels or wind turbines. They don't pollute the air, and we are not going to run out of the sun or wind. You can also not pour so much water and recycle more plastic and paper. Reduce Reuse Recycle. We can also use a bike more often or walk. Maybe you could even use an electric car or use a electric bike instead of a motorcycle. You could also use a scooter. And at the end of the day if you just take time out of your day and reflect on how conservative you were with your resources you can maybe be even more conservative the next day. So you can see there are lots of things stacked against us if we want to keep the same resources for ever but If we just all be more conservative we can keep living happily and not run out of resources.
